I am a mixing engineer, mastering engineer, music producer, and recording engineer based in Richmond, Virginia. I specialize in hip hop, underground hip hop, boom bap, sample based production, vocal heavy records, and complete independent artist projects.
As co owner of Renaissance Recordings, I understand that artists need more than somebody who can turn knobs. They need an engineer who listens carefully, communicates clearly, respects the vision of the record, and delivers professional files that are actually ready for release.
My services include full song mixing, mastering, vocal editing, tuning, cleanup, audio restoration, album and EP sequencing, instrumental versions, clean versions, performance tracks, stem preparation, and release ready file organization.
I work with Studio One 7, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Cubase, Melodyne, FabFilter, Waves, Slate Digital, Universal Audio, Soundtoys, Brainworx, Lindell, and other professional production tools. My hardware setup includes the Tascam Model 12, Audient iD4, AKG C214, MPC One, SP 404 MKII, and professional monitoring through Sennheiser HD 490 Pro headphones and Mackie CR8BT monitors.
My goal is not to force every artist into the same sound. I focus on bringing out what is already unique about the performance and production, while improving clarity, impact, balance, vocal presence, depth, and translation across different listening systems.
I am especially comfortable working with independent artists who need an experienced creative partner, whether you are finishing one single, building an EP, preparing a complete album, or developing a consistent release workflow.
Clear communication, honest feedback, organized delivery, and respect for deadlines are part of every project.
Let us make the record sound the way you heard it in your head.
