I've been a touring/recording keyboard player for 40 years, playing with a variety of bands and artists in venues ranging from small clubs to large arenas and outdoor festivals. My work as a keyboard player has given me the opportunity to travel through every state in the continental US, Canada, Germany, France, Norway, Switzerland, the Portuguese Azores, South Korea, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Cozumel. The many artists I've played for, range from blues prodigy Quinn Sullivan to country icon Tanya Tucker, and the bands I've been in have covered a broad range of popular roots music styles.

Throughout my years of touring, I have also been active as a recording session musician. In addition to playing on numerous session dates in many of Nashville’s top-notch studios, I have scored commercials, composed and recorded a theme song for a regional cable TV channel, written and arranged music for orchestra, and provide a chart writing service for touring bands and local producers.

Before I became a touring/session musician, I was on the staff of The Loft Film and Theater Center in the New York City area, writing and performing music for plays and films.

In addition to the education I received by listening and learning from keyboard greats such as Lafayette Leake, Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, Otis Spann, Bill Payne, Hargus Robbins, Matt Rollings, Johnny Griffith, Earl Van Dyke, Barry Beckett, Spooner Oldham, David Briggs, and many others, I have a Bachelor of Professional Music degree from the Berklee College of Music, with a major in music production.

My philosophy as a keyboard player is to play what works and leave out the rest. It’s all about the song and the groove.
