Praised by Phoenix Classical for “deeply poetic playing, precise intonation and technique” Dr. Oleg Bezuglov enjoys international career as a concert violinist and chamber musician.

The graduate of the Rostov State Rachmaninoff Conservatory in Russia and the Michigan State University College of Music in United States, Dr. Bezuglov represents both cultural traditions. During his studies in Russia, he collaborated with the pianist Natalia Bezuglova to form the ensemble Class&Jazz Duo, which had become known for their interpretations of classical and jazz music. Class&Jazz group garnered the First Prize of the Shostakovich International Competition in Moscow and the Bronze Medal of the Seventh International Chamber Music Ensemble Competition in Boston, MA.

In the recent years Dr. Bezuglov has been serving as an Associate Concertmaster of the Battle Creek Symphony, Assistant Concertmaster of the Kalamazoo Symphony and Assistant Principal of the Midland Symphony Orchestras.

With his various solo and chamber music projects Oleg Bezuglov was featured at such prestigious musical festival as the Festivalensemble Stuttgart, Salzburg Festival, Lucerne Festival, Festival of Ensemble Duos “Odessa Dialogues”, Festivals of Contemporary Music “Rostov Premieres”, and the Cello Plus Annual Festival. He performed in famous concert halls throughout Asia, Europe, and America, including KKL Lucern in Switzerland, Beethovensaal in Germany, Großes Fesfspielhaus in Austria, Gyeonggi-do in South Korea, Merkin Hall and Jordan Hall in United States, Rachmaninoff Concert Hall in Russia, and Stolyarsky’s School Hall in Ukraine.

In his concert appearances Oleg Bezuglov has shared a stage with such renowned artists as Lang Lang, Bobby McFerrin, Jackie Evancho, Sarah Chang, Ilya Kaler, Michel Legrand, and Al Jarreau.

The violinist of the Russian origin Oleg Bezuglov, was recognized as the Laureate of the National Award Program “Golden Talent” of the Russian Performing Art foundation. He was titled as the Honored Worker of the Russian Music Society for his contributions to popularization of the classical music worldwide, and numerous awards at the international competitions.

Dr. Bezuglov holds Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Violin Performance from the Michigan State University College of Music, and a Doctorate in Chamber Music Performance from the Rostov State Conservatory in Russia.
