Hi, my name is Paa Nii and I'm a saxophonist, producer, and mix and mastering engineer who can play all styles from rock to jazz to funk and afrobeats. I'm a hardworking, detail obsessed worker who puts an artists vision first and foremost. A contemporary saxophonist who is heavily influenced by Kamasi Washington, Kenny G, David Sanborn, Kenny Garret, Grover Washington Jr., and Thelonius Monk.

I record at the Elinay Rhythm Center, a recording studio I manage. You can visit its website at www.elinaygh.com.

I use a Yamaha Yas-23 alto saxophone and a shure sm57 to record my sax. I run my signals through a Midas M32 digital mixer right into Studio One 5 Professional, my DAW of preference.

Once I lay the track down, my files are sent via email, Dropbox, google drive, or WeTransfer. I rarely edit or do multiple takes because I record in one take. If alternate takes are required, I can do that as well. I start and complete projects on a weekly basis for the resident band of the studio.

I have worked with artists such as Joe Mettle, Siisi Baidoo, Eugene Zuta, and a host of other renowned musicians. You can find some of my more leisurely jam sessions and covers on my Youtube channel Paa Nii AwesomeSax.

I have a turnaround time of 48-72 hours or less, depending on the complexity of the piece.

Look forward to connecting!
