I’m a Los Angeles-based bassist and multi-instrumentalist with roots in rural New Mexico and more than 30 years of experience making music.
My approach is simple: listen closely, understand what the song is trying to do, and play the bass part that helps it get there. Sometimes that means a warm palm-muted line, sometimes an open and driving P-Bass sound, and sometimes it means leaving more space.
I regularly perform with original artists and bands across indie pop, pop-rock, Rock en Español, cumbia and Latin music. I’m also comfortable with Americana, country, singer-songwriter and soul/R&B material. My background on trumpet, keyboards and guitar gives me an arranger’s perspective—I hear the vocal, drums and complete ensemble rather than treating the bass as an isolated performance.
For remote sessions, I provide clean, well-organized bass tracks, clear communication and dependable delivery from my Logic Pro setup in Los Angeles. My goal is never to show how much bass I can play. It’s to make your song feel finished.
