He has performed concerts in 40 US states, in Europe, Scandinavia and Mexico he has toured as a sideman and performed with regional bands, national acts and was a featured artist at the Zihuatanejo Guitar Festival in Mexico in 2006. In Nashville Michael was the guitarist for the Radio Daze Big Band from '97 to 2007.

Major label notes: Michael toured as a sideman for Curb Artist Jamie Slocum. He performed with Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Bernadette Peters and famed guitarist Phil Keaggy. Michael has produced music for Jon Anderson, the original voice of YES and worked with legendary violinist Jean Luc Ponty, he is a co-founder of the Anderson-Ponty band. As a Nashville player, Michael performed with many artists including the original members of Lady Antebellum.

Michael has endorsements with Taylor Guitars, Fuchs Audio, Celestion Speakers, Port City Amplifiers, Keeley Pedals, Lava Cables, Furman Sound and L.R. Baggs. He has also developed his own line of high-end electric guitars known as Michael Lewis Guitars (see MichaelLewisGuitars.com). His music currently airs worldwide and he has a catalog of recordings dating back to 1986.
