Education
I Graduated from Belmont University with a B. M. Commercial music, with concentration in Percussion Performance. While at Belmont, I concentrated in percussion and Music business (studio recording). I still use those techniques within DAWs, ie Logic Pro.

I recently finished a Master’s degree in Jazz, online program at University of Arkansas (2019).
Learning jazz will not only enhance Jazz tracks, but also add smooth R&B grooves for clients.

A one-month training was a great experience in Salvador and Rio, Brazil. I studied Samba genre (World Percussion) at different Samba schools throughout these regions.
World percussion such as congas, Cuica, DJembe, timbales, and Other shakers are available for recording tracks also.

Performances
Performing with Holland America Cruise Line for three years, Headliner acts included Suzi Woods, Elvy Rose, Clem Curtis, and other Artists. Dance sets and other music events were other entertainment activities.

Performing Musicals “Guys & Dolls” at Dare2Defy productions, “Tarzan” in Columbus, OH, and other musicals at Sinclair Community College are other drum set performance outlets.

Jazz bands, Church music (contemporary and Traditional), playing in jazz/Pop-Rock groups from Cincinnati (Samantha Carlson and Kelsey Mira), and Columbus have been additional means for musical performances.

Compositions - written & Ad-lib adding spontaneity to your projects:

I had a Music Placement with HBO in 2019 (performing recorded percussion parts):
A text from Russell Landwehr writes – (the engineer I helped co-write “Village Paint”):
“VICE News Tonight on HBO used it for nearly a minute in one of their episodes”.
2)
Regina (Gin) Wills used a drumming piece on SoundCloud (“Native Africans are loose tonight”) in her short film, “Legends of Takawa”, within her company Ageless Entertainment; Release date late 2021.

I have been performing for Musicals, Circus act (Great Wallendas), bands for rock, Jazz, R&B, swing bands, and one year on-the-road with American Entertainment Productions show band (JH, HS, and conventions). Some of my drumming influences are from Alex Acuna, Dave Weckl, and Dany Gotlieb, and other jazz musicians.
