His Father played with artists such as Chet Atkins, Roy Clark, Toby Keith and Johnny Rodriguez. Performing since the age of 10, Jamison is predominantly known for his innovative fingerstyle guitar, pedal steel, banjo, dobro playing and his hauntingly arresting vocals. He has been a part of bands including Pretty Broken Things, Lofty Stills, Ghost Ship, Other Desert Cities, Maltby, Tim Wilson (of Ivan & Alyosha) and Tyler Edwards. Jamison has worked with bands, artists and producers including SYML (platinum-selling artist), Ivan & Alyosha, Andrew Joslyn (Kesha, Macklemore, Judy Collins, Arcade Fire), James McAlister (Sufjan Stevens, The National, Bill Frisell), Steven James Aguilar (Billie Eilish, Dave Matthews Band, Moby, Soundgarden), Kevin Matley (Concrete Cowboy, Kifaru, The Cage), Brian Eichelberger (The Sing Team, Thrice, Minus the Bear), Nate Furtado (Citizens, Hanan Townshend) and Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Foo Fighters). He has shared the stage with bands and artists including The Head and The Heart, Damien Jurado, Deep Sea Diver, David Bazan, The Last Bison, Noah Gundersen, Wild Belle, Sean Nelson (of Harvey Danger), Silver Torches, The Coronas, Citizens, David Immerglück (of Counting Crows), Kings Kaleidoscope, Langhorne Slim, Jill Andrews and Laura Veirs. In 2018, he was commissioned to help design and build a one of a kind instrument, which has yet to be revealed. Two weird fun facts about Jamison: He once played Lecrae “Happy Birthday” on his banjo and performed for actor John Cleese (co-founder of Monty Python). These, of course, happened on two separate occasions.
