Seasoned, veteran Old School to New School bassist here who worked with some Musical legends. I also did studio work in Los Angeles with Daryl Dragon the "Captain" of 70s duo, "Captain & Tennille" and with Don Preston keyboardist of Farnk Zappas, "Mothers of Invention". I played bass for the original Motown group "The Marvelettes" live show, so I am intimate on a personal basis with the Motown and raw Soul feel and style of STAX. recordings from FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. I am a seasoned Vintage Old School but also Modern New School bassist. and I know how the bass is supposed to compliment the song. Minimal pocket or Sophisticated groove..
