Seasoned, Old School to New School bassist here who worked with some Musical legends. I play any style or genre , however, I recorded in the original STAX studio in Memphis Tenn. with Steve Cropper engineering where Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Isaac Hayes and other STAX & Atlantic artists including Wilson Pickett and Elvis Presley recorded and where the Beatles had originally planned to record their "Revolver" album. I also did studio work with Daryl Dragon the "Captain" of 70s duo, "Captain & Tennille" and with Don Preston keyboardist of Farnk Zappas, "Mothers of Invention".I played bass for the original Motown group "The Marvelettes" live show, so I am intimate on a personal basis with the Motown and raw Soul feel and style of STAX. recordings from FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE. I am a seasoned Vintage Old School but also Modern New School bassist. and I know how the bass is supposed to compliment the song.
