Scotty Schultz is a native of St. Paul, Mn. Growing up in a very musical family Scotty was on stage at an early age, first singing with his family band and eventually moving to the drum set. He attended McNally Smith College of Music and graduated in 1999. Scotty cut his teeth in the Minneapolis music scene with Pop, Indie, and Blues bands playing locally and touring the midwest. In 2007 Scotty moved to Nashville and quickly established himself on the scene as a solid pocket, high energy, up and comer. Since moving to Nashville he has toured and/or recorded with with the likes of Shooter Jennings, The Injectables, Barrel Hounds, Jessi Colter, Leah Turner, Kristen Kelly, Shawn Lacy, and Amanda Watkins.
Scotty is a positive, driven, high energy player who brings his experience and leadership to the stage each night. From Rock and Country to Blues, Jazz, and Indie bands, he is well versed in his craft. In addition to drumming he also is an experienced band leader with a pro attitude and a fundamental desire to make each show a success.

Scotty endorses Taye Drums and Regal Tip drumsticks and exclusively plays Sabian cymbals.
