Clemens Damerau (born on August 12, 1993 in Gehrden, Germany) is an award-winning composer, arranger and music producer, based in London.
He is also an accomplished pianist with numerous of achievements in the world of music.

Damerau began his journey in music at age five taking piano lessons. Throughout his formative years, he continued his piano studies and eventually studied „Composition“ at the University of Music, Theatre and Media Hanover (HMTMH) in Germany with professors Rebecca Saunders, Oliver Schneller and Raphael D. Thöne. He is a John Barry Award Holder for Film Composition and holds a master’s degree in Composition after he was studying „Composition for Screen“ at the famous Royal College of Music in London. Attending the Hollywood Music Workshop in 2015 and 2016 he has also studied with numerous composers, orchestrators and arrangers from Hollywood including James Newton Howard, Alexandre Desplat, Conrad Pope, Nan Schwartz, Harry Gregson-Williams, George Fenton and others like Jacob Collier and Helmut Lachenmann.

Damerau has performed as a singer and keyboardist playing various music styles including rock, pop and soul band. He has served as the principle pianist of a salsa big band and was an enthusiastic member of the award-winning choir Vivid Voices. His compositions have been performed and recorded by multiple ensembles including the State Orchestra Halle and Ensemble Mosaik. Having once worked at Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) and as a composer, studio pianist and assistant at the recording studio D-Room, he is committed to training the next generation of musicians as a private composition instructor.

Damerau has worked on several movies, commercials, games and for theatre.
