I am a recording artist, producer, composer living in County Dublin, Ireland. I have written music for radio, film, circus and theatre and play a wide range of instruments. After the brief success of folktronica band Spool (Irish Times album of the week, Dec 06), I became one of the founding members of travelling folk collective The Rubber Wellies, described by BBC 2's Mike Harding as "One of my favourite bands in recent years". I've recorded on almost 100 albums including Lisa O'Neill's acclaimed Heard a Long Long Song (Guardian folk album of he year 2018). I'm a Dad now and have swapped the road for the studio.
