Songwriting Coaching/Lyric Revisions for $100

In the industry they say good songs survive bad production, but good production can't save a bad song; the cake has to be there before you can ice it. That's where my services come in.

As a songwriter and producer, I believe authenticity is the core of creating good music. I strive to elevate a song's potential while keeping it true to the artist's vision. I also know that the songwriter's journey to express themselves authentically involves overcoming the challenges of writer's block.

For this service, you can choose between:
1. An all-remote revision where you send me your lyrics/melody (and/or a demo if you have one), and I provide you with constructive annotations and in-depth notes. I will look for organization, storytelling, flow, feeling, word choice, and more - if you have something specific you want to be improved (such as structure or any of the above), let me know and I will tailor my comments to that. At the end of the day, it's your song and you get to decide what to do with it - I only offer a new and objective perspective to help you discover the strengths and shortcomings of your writings so you can become your best songwriter-self.
OR
2. A 30-minute video call where we discuss your song and I provide coaching on what is working and how to improve it. Or, if you are stuck on where to start and just have a general idea, I will help you brainstorm to get your idea off the ground so that either way you leave empowered to take the next steps in your creative process. I will send notes from the call afterward.

I will not:
- compromise or change the core meaning/message of your song - YOU are the artist.
- take royalties or request credit for edits/revisions/coaching - your song is ALL yours (unless you are looking for a co-writer, in which case contact me and we can come to an arrangement)
- be unkind - sharing your art, even when you are seeking feedback, can be vulnerable and scary. I understand that and will always remain constructive.

I will:
- listen to your vision and keep that at the center of the process
- come with fresh eyes and a positive attitude
- use my years of writing, teaching, and musical experience to help you express yourself and be happy with the music you make.
- offer ideas for clever prosody and wordplay
- help answer questions regarding copyright so that you don't have to worry about running into trouble with your music later on.
