Hi, I’m Karen.
I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember and absolutely love working with other musicians. Whether you’ve got a clear idea of what you want or you’re still throwing ideas around, I’m happy to work with you until we get it right.
I sing anything from soft, emotional vocals through to blues, rock and heavy metal, so I’m comfortable adapting to whatever the song calls for. If something doesn’t feel right, I’ll always let you know and if I think I’ve got an idea that could lift the song, I’ll mention that too. At the end of the day, it’s your project and I want you to be happy with it.
I record from my own vocal booth using an AT2020 microphone and Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface and deliver clean, dry stems ready for mixing.
Communication is really important to me. I’d much rather spend a bit of extra time getting the performance right than rush something over. Every order includes up to three revisions, so if you need anything changing, just let me know.
If you’re releasing the song commercially, I simply ask to be credited for my vocal performance where appropriate.
