My name is Dylan Welsh - I'm a nationally touring guitarist and session musician, specialize in working with artists and singer-songwriters (especially in the americana/folk/roots/country idioms). I love great writing and the making good songs come to life. That being said, I'm Berklee trained and have worked within almost every genre under the sun; I'm a confident reader/listener/improviser and have worked everything from hard rock bands to bebop quartets, I'm happy to accommodate almost any style of music.

I've been a professional in the industry for almost 15 years now, and have worked with artists ranging from Grammy winners to brand new bar bands. RECORDING RIG:
My overdub setup is based around Universal Audio hardware and UAD Plugins, running a variety of preamp emulations based on the sound I need. Many microphone options from Shure, Royer, Sennheiser , and Warm Audio, feeding into Pro Tools 12.
