Guitar Tracks for Your Song Electric/Acoustic/Classical/Mandolin/Banjo for $100

As a guitar player with 6 years of professional studio experience, I specialize in Pop, Rock, R&B, and Film/TV/Video game scores. You can learn more about me, and listen to some of prior session work at my website: http://www.mattwongguitar.com/listen

My main guitars are my Fender American Deluxe Telecaster, and my Maton EBG808 "Artist" acoustic guitar. I also use an Aria AK-35 as my classical guitar, and I play mandolin and banjo as well.

My main amp is a Fender Deluxe Reverb '65 Reissue. In addition, I use the Two Notes Torpedo Studio to simulate a variety of cabinets and microphone combinations. I have a comprehensive pedalboard that allows me to dial in tones that an artist requires.

For recording, I use the Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 into either Pro Tools or Logic Pro X, with a variety of dynamic, condenser, and ribbon microphones. Add that and the quality of my instruments with a good collection of Waves plug-ins, and you get amazing guitar sounds.

My process is very simple. First, I have a discussion with you to get an idea of your vision for the song, and any specific ideas that you have for the guitar parts. Next, I listen through the mix that is sent to me. If no chart/lead sheet is provided, then I'll make my own at this point. Then I start brainstorming what tools I will use to achieve the tones that I think are appropriate for the song. At this point, I begin creating the parts. I like to start with the chorus first, and then work on the verses, so I can make sure the chorus is the "biggest" section of the song. I will record as many guitar parts as I think the song needs, while making sure I'm always complementing the vocal, and respecting the existing arrangement.

Thanks for checking out my page, I look forward to working with you!
