My voice is naturally smooth and bright, but I often apply varying degrees of color, breathiness, and space to create the texture/tone needed for the style and/or expressive delivery.
With classical training, a BM in Vocal Jazz Performance, 20+ years singing and playing in a top-40 commercial band, as a singer-songwriter with 10+ years teaching and directing musical theater, pop, jazz, etc. I bring a lot of tools to the table whenever I tackle a song. However, I feel strongest singing jazz, classic pop and country pop. (Please check out my reel for examples :) )
