Alternative Feminine Session Vocalist for $100

I am an Alto/Mezzo-Soprano with lifelong experience - I mean, I started singing when I started talking, and I was mostly self-taught until I started my degree at BIMM. That's 22 years worth of practice AND A BMus (Hons).

For myself and my own projects, I focus on *clean* alternative vocals like the kind you'd hear from (sigh) Amy Lee, Courtney LaPlante when she's not shredding her cords, or Taylor Momsen.
However, I am known to be versatile and able to play around with my tone, I have a background in punk and therefore a love for bratty shrieking and the like. In any case, if you have a soundalike reference I can give it my best shot!

I record at home using my Macbook Pro, Focusrite Scarlett Solo, Garageband or Logic DAWs, and I have a couple different mics to choose from if you care about that kind of thing: Blue Snowball iCE, SM58, CM25 MKIII Condenser. I can also record on my grotty little Lenovo laptop or iPhone 14 if you want that crusty dusty video conference sound.

Musician's Union recommends that a standard 3-hour recording session for commercial audio release is paid at £180. I am, however, a grotty little punk who would do it for a Dr Pepper and a sausage roll if I really loved you. Extrapolate the rate from there, compare it to your budget, talk to me! I'm just excited to work with people who share my vision and could get me connected.
TLDR: around $100 for a week of work baby. That's a steal, I think. Intended for other grassroots independent folks who don't have big label dollars.

This rate is for a song between 2 and 5 minutes long with prominent lead vox responsibilities. I don't want this to rule out ridiculous 20-minute prog-dream-doom-whatever metal songs though, I would love to do those. If you have other plans, send me a request and I can tailor a package for you.
