I've been gigging and recording saxophone for over 35 years. I currently record with a professional Yamaha YTS62 Tenor Saxophone through a DPA instrument mic designed specifically for brass instruments, and sometimes also a separate stand alone AKG condenser mic, depending on the desired sound. I can add reverb on input through a Boss RV6 reverb unit, which can sometimes give better results than adding reverb post-recording on the DAW.
My fee is for 1 track and includes up to 2 revisions. I usually do 3 or 4 takes on each revision, but I won't submit anything I'm not happy with, so sometimes I'll record more takes until I'm satisfied with the result.
I currently use BandLab's Cakewalk for editing. My fee includes basic editing to add the saxophone parts in to your project with basic effects such as reverb or delay.
