Max Wiltse is a drummer and percussionist originally from Iowa now living in Los Angeles, CA. Ready to bring your song to life and create the sound and vibe that you are looking for! After studying Jazz at the University of North Texas, Max went to Nashville to study with Jim Riley of the Rascal Flatts at Belmont University. Working with local artists such as Zachary Scott Kline, Jack Shields and the Mojave Rush, John Hollier and more. With 10+ years of musical training from Jazz, rock, funk, latin, fusion, pop, rock, all the way to classical, Max is able to meet your needs. Currently using an array of AKG, Shure Audio Technica, and Senheiser microphones running through a Universal Apollo x8p, with UAD spark, Soundtoys, STL Tones, and various other plug ins, Max is able to get the right sound the first time. With a wide variety of snares and cymbals ranging from vintage to modern, as well as a vintage 80s yamaha drum set and a Gretsch USA Custom set. 2 revisions with a high quality of work.
