Hi and welcome!

My name is Nikola Dušmanić and I am professional drummer having dedicated 20 years to perfecting my craft behind the drums and with over 6 years of experience in the studio business.

I am pleased to present my session drum recording service, conducted within the chambers of my Ezoterik Studio. This facility is fully equipped with professional-grade instruments and gear, meticulously designed to deliver the optimum drum sound. The recording space features wooden walls, strategically placed books, diffusers, and acoustic panels, all contributing to a natural, reverberant, and open sound. This setup has been developed in collaboration with experienced acousticians to ensure the highest quality recording experience.

What sets me apart is my passion for versatility, even though the majority of my portfolio prominently showcases my expertise in Hard Rock and Metal genres I thoroughly enjoy recording a diverse range of genres!

My equipment consists of my fully custom drums from W.odd Custom Drums, of which I am a proud endorser. These drums are crafted from ash, walnut, and abonos wood, and come in sizes 10" x 7", 12" x 8", 16" x 14", and 22" x 16". Additionally, I have two fully custom snare drums: the W.odd Custom Drums "The Exile" 13" x 8" snare and the W.odd Custom Drums "Forest Hollow" 14" x 8" snare drums.

Additionally, I own various cymbals from Istanbul Mehmet and Meinl. I have a diverse collection that allows me to combine different cymbals, creating a range of sounds and styles tailored to meet the needs of clients and projects.

Lastly, I use a variety of microphones from companies such as AKG, Shure, and Rode to record everything directly to my preamps and analog gear for clear and top-notch sound.
