Hello, my name is Joel. I'm here to do live drum tracks for your projects.
What I offer:
Original performance for your track, recorded through quality equipment. Outboard pres can be run clean or hot for a saturation/coloration. They'll be tracked raw, without eq or compression, for max flexibility when it comes to mixing.
The kit is a 7pc Yamaha Tour Custom. All maple shells, surrounded by Sabian cymbals (HHX/AAX). Shells are all individually mic’d, 2 overheads (spaced pair, kick snare up the center), double mic'd kick (inside/outside) and snare (top/bottom). Willing to re-arrange as needed.
The interface itself is a MOTU 828es, which has phenomenal analog to digital conversion.
I have 8 API and 2 Neve channels thanks to 2 WA 412's and an HA 73. As mentioned at the beginning, these can be run clean, or hot for some coloration.
For the mics I have a ZenPro modded SM 57 on the top and a standard 57 on the bottom.
Beta 56A's on the toms.
A RE20 inside the kick.
A WA 47jr (U47FET clone) outside the kick
and KSM 137 small diaphragm condensers for overheads.
Drum sizes are
22″ Kick, choice of 14×5″ maple or 13×6″ Oak snare, toms are 10, 12, 13, 14, & 16."
