I’m a professional classically-trained bassist with an exciting sound and impeccable technique , and I’m always working to find what a track or written piece needs. I’m a member of the Augusta Symphony, Augusta Virtuosi, Alejandro Ziegler Quartet Tango , and lead the Athens Tango Project I’ve worked with Tanguetto, Ben Folds, Bela Fleck, and recorded several classical, tango, jazz, and Americana albums. I take pride in my flexibility to achieve what is requested in each situation. I always check with clients before I finish a project, to make sure it’s to their liking and we’re both happy with the result. I tour, record, and specialize in the nuances of tango music, on top of my ongoing classical and contemporary career. I record on my M1 Mac mini on Logic Pro, Garage Band, or Ableton with top industry microphones like Remic, Condensers, Realist pickup , Focusrite Clarett 8 Pre, and more. I bow smoothly , perform virtuoso material, attack strongly or as needed , and my pizzicato can be modified from tango, to Jazz, to orchestra, to Latin. I also own an Alembic fretless bass, a Fender Jaguar, and fretted andan fretless 6-string Basses.
