I have 34 plus years playing experience both studio and live.

I have played in many bands both original and covers, genres such as rock, punk, hard rock, blues, country country rock, folk, Irish, rockabilly etc.

These days my main focus is songwriting, writing and producing ( the showreel is some of my material in various stages of production )

My playing has been described as solid and In the pocket.

I work out on my studio in Wellington New Zealand, I use a pro quality recording chain, G and L L 2000 Series E bass which is a total tone machine, and an old school P Bass early 80s Japanese Squier with Lollar pickups.

I use a Heritage Audio Britstrip for DI, UAD Apollo convertor with a range of UAD and 3rd party Amp sims and ATC monitoring.

My amps include AMPEG SVT 4 PRO with 8 x 10 USA Fridge , Mesa 4 x 10 Powerhouse cab.

I'll give you a suitable Bass amp tone and also a DI track so you can mix your own tone if you want .

When sending me songs to record, PLEASE leave a measure or two of open space at the beginning of your song with your preferred sample rate and resolution (44.1, 24 etc.), and also the BPM.
