My main influences are James Jamerson (Motown) and Pino Palladino (D'angelo, and much more). For me the most important thing in a bass line is that it grooves. I am not a fast virtuoso, but rather pay an incredible detail to the sound from the beginning to the end of the note. This sound can be a pure bass guitar, or it can have a lot of effects, synths and double tracks. My goal is to get your body moving to the groove.

I am a professional Berlin based session musician, graduated with a jazz degree in electric bass at the "Prince Claus Conservatory" in the Netherlands and the "University of Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in Germany. I have played on a lot of studio recordings and can play in all popular styles.
Recordings can be made as a DI track (without amplifier, directly recorded into a scarlett focusrite) or I can record on a Epifani UL 902-C with a Epifani 2x12 and a Hartke 2x10 or Hartke 1x15 cabinet. A combination of 2 cabinets + DI all on single tracks can be provided.

I can read music, or learn your track by ear. I can ether record a bass line that you compose, or come up with ideas myself. I will send you 3 different wave tracks for you to chose from, and do revisions up to two times. I can also double a bass and synth bass on top of each other.
