Bass - 4-time Nominee for ACM Bass Player of the Year for $130
Alison Prestwood – 4-time nominee for ACM Bass Player of the Year (Academy of Country Music Awards) - $130 per song
Well-established Nashville bass player. Played on all tracks on George Benson’s current album, “Walking to New Orleans.” I recently played on a record with Steve Gadd on drums, which was a real joy. I played on Blake Shelton’s first three albums, including the #1 songs “Austin” and “The Baby” and the huge hit “Ol’ Red.” Played on countless other albums by artists Trace Adkins, Needtobreathe, Ronnie Milsap, Rodney Crowell, Chris LeDoux, B.J. Thomas, Jim Lauderdale, Buddy Miller, Julie Miller, Olivia Newton-John, Faith Hill, Marty Stuart, Kim Carnes, Brooks and Dunn, Ray Stevens, Elizabeth Cook, Jeffrey Steele, Ty Herndon, and Cliff Richard, among others.
All styles - including pop, rock, country, alternative, funk, and jazz. Great with fingers or pick. Electric solid body and hollow body basses. Very good music reader, too. Pro Tools 12.7.
I was in the house band for the 2019 Country Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, the CMA Awards Show in November 2019, and the CMA Country Christmas special in 2020.
Artists I've toured with include Shawn Colvin, Olivia Newton-John, Rodney Crowell, Patty Loveless, and Amy Grant. Interestingly, I subbed for Michael Rhodes with Joe Bonamassa, for two nights in October 2019 and it was a blast!
