Session Bassist (Electric) for $100

Hello! My name is Brett Frey, and I am a session bassist and leader based out of Nashville TN!

I have tracking credits with Johnny Garcia (Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks), Keith Carlock (Steely Dan, Toto), Wil Houchens (Luke Combs, Rascal Flatts), Greg Morrow (Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Joe Bonamassa) & Jimmy Mattingly (Garth Brooks) at Blackbird and Sound Emporium Studios.

I am passionate about creating fun and memorable recording experiences with everyone from indie artists to A-listers. I will hear a song once, chart it out, knock out 2-3 versions and I will send it back right away! I have 6 different basses to choose from (which I will pair with the style of the track) and I hook them all up to my Noble Preamp that goes straight into ProTools and thats usually the only track I need to send to any artist and/or producer I work with. If you'd like to hear something specific other than what you heard in the 2-3 versions, I can send up to one more pass before extra money is charged.

I take pride in trying to play a lot of styles of music, and as a session bassist, I love to dive into my "toolkit" to find the perfect part and the perfect sound for your music. The best session bassists try to find the part that's enough to elevate the music without getting in the way of the song. Through all the musical experiences I have had, I always live to serve the song of any artist I am working with.

I am extremely detailed oriented, I learn songs really fast, and I love to make people's lives easier.
