I am a professional session bassist and studio engineer with 20+ years of playing experience and 16+ years engineering. I have worked as an in-house tracking/mixing engineer at Nam Studios and tracked bass at world-class facilities like Real World Studios and Studio La Fabrique, with credits including Nick Harper, Port Erin, and Hang Massive.

Operating out of Side Room Audio, my private hybrid space, I specialize in character-rich, analog bass lines. My approach is influenced by Khruangbin, Radiohead, Grizzly Bear, lots of 60's music (wrecking Crew) but also bands like Nerve. Whatever the genre, I tailor the tone and playing specifically to your song's needs. Because I approach bass through the lens of an engineer, every track is carefully gain-staged and tracked through high-end analog outboard so it sits effortlessly in your mix.

What You Get (Per Track):

1x Fully Arranged Bass Track (Up to 5 mins) + 2x Revisions.

Bespoke Tone: Dialed in to serve the track or tailored to your specific references.

Multiple Stems (2–3 per take): You'll receive clean DI options (e.g., punchy Cranborne) alongside saturated, mix-ready stems (AML 1073 preamp / optical compression).

Amp & DI Included: When an amped tone fits, I include a clean DI alongside the amp track (mic'd or via Torpedo Captor).

Amps: '70s Music Man HD-130, Ampeg V4B (via Captor/reamping).
