Hi! I’m a professional upright (double) bass player with over 15 years of experience, performing across Europe with top musicians and appearing at festivals such as Musart Festival (Italy), North Sea Jazz Festival (Netherlands), Corfu Jazz World (Greece), and Lisbon Music Fest (Portugal).

I hold degrees in Guitar and Jazz Composition with honors from the Conservatory Luigi Cherubini in Florence and in Electric & Double Bass from the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague.

I’ve won multiple jazz competitions both as a performer and as a composer, including the Murate Jazz Contest 2011 (Bemsha Quartet), Leiden Jazz Award 2015 (Claudio Junior De Rosa’s trio), and Barga Jazz Contest 2019 (SMoGZ Quartet).

I’ve collaborated with renowned musicians and ensembles such as ORT (Orchestra Regionale Toscana), Metropole Orkest, Han Bennink, Fabrizio Bosso, Ilja Reijngoud, Nico Gori, Claudio Junior De Rosa, Vince Mendoza, Denise Jannah, and many others. I’m also active as a composer, arranger, and producer for films like L’intruso, Matrimoni e altri disastri, and Lo sguardo.
