Hi, I’m Andrew. I'm a mixing engineer and artist from Scotland. I help musicians bring their songs to life with professional and radio ready mixes.

I launched Studio AMM after graduating with a BA(Hons) in Audio Production from SAE Institute Glasgow in 2023. My number one aim is to help artists unleash their full potential by working with an experienced mixing engineer for an affordable price without losing the charm and soul of their songs.

Throughout my years of experience in audio, I know how to finish tracks to a professional, industry standard. My work has been played on BBC Radio Scotland & Amazing Radio.

What sets me aside is that I deeply care about my clients music. I don't tend to even get involved if I don't like what they are doing! I wouldn't work with someone who is only doing it for the money... so why should you?

Every project is treated meticulously with care as releasing your own music is a deeply personal and vulnerable thing! As both an engineer and a musician, I understand what it’s like to be on the artist’s side of the coin.

I'm a lot more than just a mixing engineer, think of me as someone who is going to keep you and your song(s) on the right path!

So, what does working with me look like?

I work on Ableton Live 11 with in-the-box plugins from trusted companies such as Soundtoys, UAD, Celemony, Sonnox and oeksound.

Firstly, let's have a chat about your project and talk about your expectations. 80 tracks max in the sessions would be ideal! I've set the max amount of revisions at 10 however that's an inflated number. Usually I get it in 5! I'm very picky about my work. Good enough doesn't work for me! You'll definitely get my absolute 100%.

I am quite hands on with mixing. If the songs needs a bit more I'll always give you honest feedback about what it needs, how to do it, answering questions etc.

I have a few pieces of outboard gear too like my Soundtracs Series MR Console, a Lexicon MPX100 Digital Reverb and Delay unit and a Fostex MC102 Mixer that I like to use on certain projects. I have a great listening space too spearheaded by my Adam Audio A7v Studio Monitors.

I’m now expanding into remote mixing so I can collaborate with artists from all over the world.
