Classic, Hybrid Analog/Digital Mixing Service for $250

Have you ever wondered just how the sounds of classic records were achieved? World class musicianship and exceptional tracking environments aside, the choices that the engineers made during the mixing process were vital. My sound and approaches are very much rooted in the classic english style, particularly between the years 1967 and 1976, when some of the greatest sounding records were produced by engineers such as Ken Scott, Glyn Johns, and Alan Parsons in facilities such as: Abbey Road, Olympic, Ramport, Island, Trident, Manor, and Strawberry studios.

I would characterize my sounds as very Helios influenced. Through my work with Henry Hirsch (Lenny Kravitz) at Waterfront Studios, as well as time spent as an engineer at Sound City Studios, I developed a strong understanding and appreciation for these classic consoles.

If you draw influence from such diverse acts as: Led Zeppelin, The Who, Elton John, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Genesis, King Crimson, Queen, Supertramp, The Rolling Stones, and the Zombies; we will be a great match. Mixing is performed in my private mixing suite in Los Angeles, utilizing monitors by ATC, tuned to perfection with a Trinnov ST2 monitoring optimization system. I have an exceptional plate reverb on site, as well as a host of classic outboard units and a few exceptionally rare/obscure/custom pieces that lend a signature to any sound that passes through them.

Each mix includes three (3) revision rounds however, additional revisions may be negotiated if necessary. I accept Pro Tools and Logic files, as well as raw stems. Your performances should be edited, tuned (if desired), and consolidated prior to submission. For sessions containing over 75 tracks, please contact me in advance of booking.
