Vocal Editing and Tuning with a Fine Tooth Comb for $80
Let me edit your vocals for you. As a vocalist myself, I have years of experience editing my own vocals and others from session work I have done. I am also a trained producer and mix engineer, so my vocal edits will sit nicely in your mix. What exactly does that mean? Do you ever hear harsh popping sounds or uncomfortable mouth noises, hissing “s” or gasping breaths? These natural things become amplified with doubles and stacked vocals and compression. These little guys will stick out like a sore thumb in the final mix/master if they are not edited well. I have been there and done that so I really know what to look for.
Turnaround Time:
To edit a Lead vocal, 2 doubles, and 6 bgv's I estimate a day turnaround, but will agree on a reasonable timeline given schedules.
Additional tracks can take more time and require additional costs that will be discussed beforehand.
Note: The above is for editing and tuning vocals that are already comped. I am happy to also provide comping services for an additional fee to be negotiated based on number of files. You send to me all takes and I will select the best options ensuring optimal musicality, cohesion and consistency of vocal timbre.
