Hi, I’m Giuliano, a freelance mixing and mastering engineer and lifelong music enthusiast. I grew up listening to rock, funk, progressive, fusion, and jazz, and started playing piano and keyboards at the age of 12. Over the years I’ve performed many live shows with bands, and that musician’s perspective strongly shapes how I approach mixing.

My specialty is working with tracks performed by real bands. I focus on preserving the interaction between drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, and vocals so the groove, dynamics, and emotion of the performance remain intact. I’m equally happy working with a great vocal over a well-produced backing track.

When mixing, I aim to give every element clarity, depth, punch, and space while keeping the musical balance of the song. I can maintain the natural dynamics and feel of a performance while adding body and solidity, or — when the production calls for it — shape the track into a tighter, louder, radio-ready sound with modern impact.
