Mix Engineer for $150

I’m a Melbourne-based mixing engineer and sound designer with more than a decade of professional audio experience across studio mixing, live music and large-scale musical theatre.

Most recently, I mixed the Australian live cast album of Beetlejuice The Musical, working with complex multitrack sessions, large vocal arrangements, live band and orchestral elements, extensive editing and detailed automation.

My focus is taking raw or unfinished recordings and turning them into polished, release-ready mixes with clarity, impact and character, without losing the personality of the original performance.

This price for service includes:

• Mixing of 1 song
• Mix preparation and session cleanup
• Timing/editing where required
• Vocal tuning and cleanup
• Detailed volume, pan and effects automation
• Mix bus processing
• Up to 3 rounds of revisions (addition rounds possible, please discuss)
• Final 24-bit WAV mix
• Instrumental mix on request
• Reference MP3 if required

If your session contains more than 60 tracks, extensive vocal tuning, drum editing, comping, production work or major restoration, please contact me before ordering so I can confirm the scope.

My workflow is primarily digital, built around Pro Tools, RME conversion and monitoring, Kali IN-5 studio monitors, professional acoustic treatment, iZotope RX, Melodyne and a wide range of professional mixing tools.

Before beginning, I’ll listen to your rough mix and references and identify what you want improved. I then organise and prepare the session, build the mix around the most important musical elements, and refine tone, space, dynamics and automation before delivering the first mix for feedback.

My goal is not simply to make everything sound “cleaner.” It is to make the song feel finished, emotionally engaging and ready to release.
