Let's bring your song(s) to life!

I craft thoughtful, emotional mixes through a hybrid studio setup that pushes me to mix more with my ears than eyes. I'll run your tracks through outboard gear from Rupert Neve Designs, SSL, API, Manley and more to add some analog warmth and saturation, as well as use the latest plugins, when required, for more surgical and technical processes.

I work mindfully yet efficiently, emphasizing quality over quantity, and will make sure you're 100% happy with your mixes before moving on to another project. Clear communication is key so I'd love to chat with you before diving in to your song(s), laying out a vision for the mixing process and any and all expectations and/or goals you may have. I believe being transparent about these things from the beginning sets any collaboration up for success and am confident I can produce the mixes you're wanting to hear within only a few revisions, if that.

A little about me:

I studied music production at Appalachian State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Music Industry Studies in 2010. Since then, I have held a plethora of jobs related to music and audio, including stints running live sound, mastering for and actually cutting vinyl records in real-time, and various internships at recording studios, all the while working as a freelance producer and engineer on the side (which I'm currently in the process of making my full time gig).

What I need from you:
- WAV or lossless stems of all tracks you wish to be included in the mix (preferably dry with no effects). I work in Logic so will accept your session file if also used for recording.
- a rough demo from your tracking sessions, if you have one, to use as a sonic guide to help me better understand the sounds you're going for

What you'll get from me:
- a finalized stereo mix in both WAV and hi-res mp3 formats
- processed stems of main tracks (vocals, guitar, bass, drums, etc) for mastering purposes
- any other requested edits and/or mixes, within reason (clean versions, no vocals, vocals up or down, etc)

*I can also master your music for an additional $50/song, though I recommend bringing in another set of ears that weren't a part of the mixing process (call me old school lol). I have a separate mastering services page if that's more what you're looking for.
