Professional music mixing for indie rock, folk, singer-songwriter and punk music with a focus on rich texture for $200
I'm Matt Buckman, a professional mixing engineer with 25 years of experience having worked with artists like Billy Corgan and Ivan Cornejo. I have been playing and recording music since I was 12 years old and there's nothing in life I enjoy more than putting together a song. My favorite genres to work in are rock, folk, and singer-songwriter. I've been around since before everything became digital so I still love to add a bit of vintage texture to everything I work on. I transitioned to Universal Audio's Luna last year because I think it sounds better than any other DAW and is most similar to working on a real console. I have some vintage hardware still though these days I work mostly in the box and I have just about every plugin you can imagine. I'm very good at fixing vocals, whether they are slightly out of tune or need to be cleaned up.
