A serious sound for the serious artist. High end analog & digital mastering and audio restoration. Awarded and certified sound for all to enjoy. for $80
At Umastering we hear you.
Our distinguished mastering is done from our fully equipped listening room in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
The work of 'your mastering guy' Lennart Haman is greatly appreciated by both small time artists as well as those of name and fame, and is recently awarded with a Dutch Edison award for best jazz album.
Both digital and analogue processing is done in our fully tuned studio. This hybrid setup makes it possible to implement the best of both worlds for the perfect result.
With great aesthetic judgment and a keen ear for detail, Lennart creates a true projection of the music in his masters.
Gear highlights: Weiss, Elysia, Gyraf, Millennia, Pultec, Neve, Crane Song, Duntech, B&W, RME, Neumann.
Although something can always be made ‘louder’ or ‘thicker’ and this is certainly amongst the possibilities, it is often musicians who have dealt with masters of this caliber elsewhere, who prefer the tranquility and control of a Umaster, which stands its ground without having to raise its voice.
Package deals for multiple songs or albums are of course available. Already starting from 3 songs! Please enquire.
** Custom sample offer applies to the first 5 gigs, since we're new here and can use some first reviews to kick it off. So be quick to get yours! We're confident you'll like what you hear. * *
We’ll provide you with the following formats:
One hi-res (.wav) master in the provided native format and a 16/44 version. This covers the most common purposes for distribution. When an ISRC code is provided, it is possible to embed this in the PCM file.
Extra versions like radio edits, instrumentals etc. and passes from/to any other format will be charged for an additional 15$
In case of album preparation: A zipped DDP package containing all relevant files needed for replication, and if desired a cue sheet for personal reference. Alternatively, we can provide a physical Redbook standard disc for replication, although this is not very common anymore these days.
Tracks and projects can be revisited 2 times without extra charge. If certain elements in a mix might need subtle changes, 9 out of 10 times it will only require a new pass with the same settings and this will be charged as such. If a complete remix is supplied, we’ll charge it as a new track.
