Hi, my name is Debbie and I'm an Award winning songwriter- producer. I studied Vocal Jazz at the Amsterdam Conservatory, next to Jazz I sung in Pop, Party, Rock, Soul and Blues Brothers Bands. Travelled the world as a singer and later on as a piano entertainer. After winning the Award in 2010, I started focussing more on songwriting and producing. I started writing columns about songwriting for Dutch musicians magazine Bandcoach. I did some band-coaching. I have songs placed in TV-Shows like Riverdale, Better Things and Graves. Next to songs, I write instrumental cues and soundscapes.
I write for, or co-write with, upcoming and established artists, working on their next Hit-song to be. I also teach songwriting, give songwriting workshops (in which we write and record a full song, all within a three hours time-frame) and help developing young artists with their songwriting skills. I’ve written songs in very different genres like Pop, Jazz, Dance, Retro Pop, Vintage Soul, R&B and Rock.
