Hi, I’m Bid — a UK-based professional musician and producer with 40 years behind me, working from my own 32-channel studio.

As a producer my credits include The D4, Lily Allen, Blazing Squad and Arkarna, and as a drummer I’ve recorded internationally for the likes of Edwin Starr, Alexander O’Neal, Above & Beyond and Leftfield.

Send me your idea — a demo, a topline or a rough sketch — and I’ll produce it into a finished track: arrangement, programming, live playing where it counts, and a polished mix and master. I’m comfortable in Ableton Live, Logic Pro or Pro Tools to suit your project.

I’m a true one-stop shop. As well as drums, I play keys, bass and guitar to a high standard, provide vocals — lead or backing — and I’m an established programmer, comfortable in any DAW as well as hardware like MPCs and Teenage Engineering. That means you can get a finished, fully-performed track from one person, without sourcing extra musicians.

My setup includes a deep mic locker — the sE Electronics Gemini II twin-valve, plus Shure, Sennheiser and AKG — feeding MPCs, samplers, hardware compressors and extensive outboard, all running into full in-house production, mixing and mastering. You’ll get one consistent sonic vision from start to finish, delivered as polished files or stems.
