EQUIPMENT & PROCEDURES
* Two Intel Core i7 2.6 Ghz with 16 GB of RAM Windows machines.
* Programs: Adobe Audition CS6, Audacity, Sony Sound Forge, iZotope.
* 60 GB Soundtrack and Foley Library consisting of royalty free music, sound effects, soundtracks, and foley.
* Most VO Demos will consist of the client recording 10-20 tracks of either commercial, animation, or accent specific copy with an added room tone of 2-3 seconds at the beginning or end of the recorded tracks. I can provide the copy for you if you do not have any good samples or ideas for your voice or your vocal range.

* I will work out the problems in your samples until I hear clean and pristine audio. Problems like hisses, pops, hums, etc are all removed with editing tools in software like iZotope, Audacity, Adobe Audition, or other plugins.

* I am great with time stretching capabilities (without changing pitch) to help match different takes of vocal performances from track to track. D-essing and plosives as well.

* Room tone is defined as the "silence" recorded at a location when no other dialogue is spoken. Every location has a distinct presence or "noise" created by the position of the microphone in relation to the space and equipment around it. A fan hum from a PC, overhead lights, etc all make "noise". As long as the noise is consistent, it can be edited out easily. PLEASE NOTE: bird chirps, dog barks, etc are NOT consistent and need to be avoided completely while you record.
