Orchestratal arrangements and/or original compositions for $400

I’m Carlo Dini, a composer and orchestrator from Italy now living and working in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. I have experience across film and television music, theatre productions and original compositions for ensembles and artists. Over the years I also specialized in realistic virtual orchestration and mock-ups, in a variety of genres. I’m all yours for original orchestral compositions or arrangements, ready to discuss either a virtual delivery or a written score for ensembles to perform; as well as organising the recording itself with various orchestras I’ve collaborated with around Europe, if need be.

I normally never charge for revisions and I work until my clients are happy: before I “officially” start orchestrating I provide my clients with a few demos and options, which I’ll start working on once we’ve agreed on which one works the best. I can deliver MIDI, score PDFs, stems and anything else, in (of course) studio ready quality. I normally deliver two folders: one with my processing (mix-ready) and one with the dry, untouched samples for you or your mixing engineer to have complete freedom. My deliveries are per instrumental section (when it’s virtual compositions - eg: Violins 1, Violins 2, etc; not “Strings”). I can provide mixed and mastered orchestral tracks if required, however I always recommend someone else to take care of the mix, as my specialization is on quite a different thing!
The listed fee covers an arrangement or an orchestral track of up to four minutes. Especially for arrangements however, this will possibly go lower depending on the complexity and the density of the orchestration you seek. I found it often true that a lot can be achieved with very few well-placed brush strokes, in which case a lower fee can be arranged.
