Violinist & String Arranger | Latin Grammy-Winning Album Credits | Recording from my Studio for $300
I’ll record your string parts as a 10-piece string section.
WHAT YOU GET:
5 parts (violin 1a, violin 1b, violin 2, viola, cello) recorded in 2 passes = 10 string parts
Each of the 10 parts on its own separate track
A stereo mix of the full string section
All files in WAV, already edited and ready for your session
A document with a suggested panning layout
GEAR AND STUDIO:
Home studio with acoustic treatment. I record with a Neumann TLM 102 and a Beyerdynamic M 160 through an Apollo Twin X interface. The cello part is played on a baritone violin, one octave below the standard violin, covering the cello range.
PROCESS:
You send me your parts, a stereo mix without vocals and a click track. I record each part to your mix, edit the takes and send back the individual tracks plus the stereo string mix.
REVISIONS:
4 revisions are included. If you need more, no problem. The music comes first.
EXPERIENCE:
I have a lot of experience in this kind of work. My most recent project is the soundtrack for a Portuguese TV telenovela: https://orcd.co/dkxjav0
