I hold two bachelors degrees in fine arts (Damascus) and jazz performance/ music studies form William Patterson University in NJ. my art and music, I aim to explore all of the different musical, cultural backgrounds and practices that I lived and integrate them together in an interesting and creative ways. The three major cities that I have lived in have profoundly influenced and inspired me: Damascus, Beirut, and New York. From the old musical and instrumental traditions of Damascus, to the free, experimental, and artistic nature of Beirut, to the futuristic, modern and innovative spirit of New York.
