How to transform a feeling into a sound?

Electronic music and bonding it with acoustic instruments was always a music background for guitarist and producer Vojto Monteur. In the early days of his music carrier he was assiociated as an MC and composer for drum’n’bass collective Miloopa. It was a main platform that led him to many interesting cooperations. The band has toured and played across the europe with amazing artists (Mc Blu rum, Jojo Mayer’s Nerve, Dj first rate)

Nowadays Vojto Monteur is easily recognized by jazz fans as a guitar player for 7-piece band EABS. Recently he started cooperation with two interesting international projects : PADEREWSKI ORCHESTRA i SYMPHONSPHERE with Leszek Możdzer as a founder - including Tia Fuller and Lars Danielsson as a band members.

His countless performances and experiments (also music for theater and movies) let him to discover guitar with modern approach. His instruments are subjected to countless modulations. In a result we get the guitar sounding spacey and ambient wise - not at all as standard sounding rock or jazz guitar. Just unique. Studying possibilities to transform familiar sound into something unknown is now artistic trademark of Vojto Monteur. Ambient landscapes, mysterious hums, and electro acoustic experiments are very characteristic elements of Vojto’s music.

These elements are also presented on his new record : GLOW / ambient works. Vojto invites a listener for 20 minute journey of musical meditation and goes through different thoughts about vibrations of a heart. How can we put rhythm of our hearts into the magical cycle of nature.
The pieces are fully improvised and have been recorded during summer and autumn 2018. Many hours of spontaneous music went through selection and resulted in finding most personal stories. There are 9 miniatures bonded together in on bigger piece. In addition, the reason for improvising was the observation of biological cycles of nature, changing seasons, transformation of a light and it’s influence on us. How the vibrations of a light can be translated to music language. Can electronic music bring us closer to nature? These are the questions that the Artist is trying to answer.
