I’m Tyla, known as tyla_.wav. I record, mix and produce tracks from the ground up. I rework artist demos, build full productions, and take songs right through to mix and master. I started out making music on a battered netbook in my mum’s house in East Yorkshire (UK), then went on to teach production in Memphis and run recording sessions in Florence, Italy. I learnt early on that gear means nothing if the ideas aren’t right. I keep it straight, raw and real.
