Creatively known as Truth, Traneshia Chiles, is a Dallas, Texas native. Best known professionally for her vocal ability, Truth as recorded for artist such as Grammy Award Winner India Arie for “This Love”, Grammy Nominated Alternative Rock Band, Rival Sons "Shooting Stars", and UK phenom KALEO "Brother Run Fast”. Her first major writing credits came in 2015 with Reflection Music Group artists, Derek Minor and Tony Tillman. The following year she shared the credit of a Dove Award for Derek’s Title Album, “Empire” which she helped to write and produce.  The song was later synced for television placement on TV One's Black Ink Crew New York, T.I. & Tiny’s a Family & Friends Hustle, and HBO's hit series, The Chi.

Working with Grammy Award producer, Shannon Sanders, she was asked to be apart of the Nashville Urban Choir. In 2018, the choir performed with Chris Stapleton, Mavis Staples, and Maren Morris during the highly anticipated Country Music Awards. In hindsight, 2020 became one of her most rewarding years.  She was brought in to record backing vocals for Christian contemporary artist Christ Tomlin for, Chris & Friends. The song list consisted of  the #2 iTunes Chart Hit "Thank You Lord." Soon after, she rendered her vocals for Chris Stapleton’s album, Starting Over on "Watch You Burn” a song highlighting the devastating attack on the 2017 Academy of Country Music Awards.

In 2022 she had the pleasure of returning to Las Vegas with Chris Stapleton to perform with the Nashville Urban Choir during the ACM Awards where Starting Over garnered him Artist of the Year as well as Best Country Album during the 64th Grammy Awards. Her summer also began to heat up with the release of Warner Brothers and Baz Luhrmann’s box office hit “Elvis.” Her vocals can be heard along with some of Nashville’s brightest solo artists on the film and official soundtrack.

It’s important to note that her character and ability go hand in hand. As a creative, her colleagues have equated her lyrical and vocal stylings to Jhene Aiko and Johnathan McReynolds. Personally, her greatest moments are serving and helping other’s achieve their goals in and out the studio. It is Truth’s hope to showcase more of her lyrical process and ability with the release of her first EP, later this year. She knows this album will catapult her writing career and allow for more opportunities to work with some of the industries hottest up and comers.
