As a music executive and musician, Ryan Svendsen has a unique understanding of both sides of the music industry. After graduating from UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, Svendsen assisted in music bookings at United Talent Agency and then artist management at Azoff Music/Live Nation. At Lionsgate, Svendsen managed the music campaigns of over 80 Film & TV Soundtracks including the Academy Award winning best song and score for La La Land.

Ryan currently serves as Head of Music at Millennium Media where he has music supervised films such as “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard” starring Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek, Samuel L Jackson, Morgan Freeman and Antonio Banderas, "Till Death” starring Megan Fox, “Jolt” starring Kate Beckinsale and “The Protégé” starring Maggie Q and Michael Keaton.

Ryan was appointed as the inaugural chair for the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music Alumni Board in 2020.
As a musician, Svendsen continues to explore his passion of the Trumpet as much as possible and has performed & recorded with a wide array of artists. He is most proud of his horns being heard on Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby“ and Christina Aguilera's Grammy Nominated song "Fall In Line" feat. Demi Lovato.

In addition to his love for music, Ryan is an avid swimmer and has swam from Alcatraz 3 times.
