Hi, I am a professional electric bassist, composer, arranger and producer, currently living in London and available for online session work.

I have worked in many recording studios around the UK with a variety of artists spanning many genres and styles, from Jazz to Rock, Country, Soul, Pop and many others. I pride myself on delivering great sounding, interesting and tasteful parts, with consistently great feel and tone. I work hard and don't stop until you get what you want!

For the last 10 years I have been employed as a session musician, and have performed at many prestigious venues, from the Isle of Wight Festival to the Royal Albert Hall, in addition to numerous radio and TV appearances.

I have a BMus (Hons) Degree in Jazz from Birmingham Coservatoire, UK. While I was there I studied Bass Guitar and Double Bass, as well as completing a Major Project in Big Band Composition and Arrangement as part of my final year.

I have been lucky enough to study with Joe Hubbard (teacher of Pino Palladino), Mark Hodgson (Bill Bruford), Fred T Baker and Arnie Somogyi. Whilst at university we also recieved 3 week-long workshops from Dave Holland (Miles Davis) per year.

Previously, I have contributed bass parts to songs which have been broadcast on many UK radio stations, including BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3, BBC 6Music, XFM, Radio Wales and Radio Cymru.

I have worked with some some great artists, including Jodie Marie (Decca/Transgressive Records), her side project Taylor and Marie (with Samuel Taylor), Toby Couling and Dan Smith (The Noisettes), Jimmy Brewer (Independent Artist) and the hotly-tipped Welsh band Valleyers.

I believe in having a positive, honest, helpful attitude to go with my work ethic......and most importantly, making the music sound as great as we can!
