Phd in music performance at Aveiro University - Portugal (2018)
I have experience in many different music styles, from contemporary music, to popular songs. Since I got my Phd, I have been working mostly with popular music from Brasil, such as Carimbó, Choro, Samba, and I also play Flamenco music; my Phd research was, although, about performance in a more "classical" way. I consider myself a very eclectic performer, and I also love to teach. I offer private lessons, in Portuguese and English, and have been working as a teacher since 2005. From 6 to 100, no matter what is your age and goal... I can help you learn how to play the flute! During the Covid-19 pandemics, I am working mostly online, giving classes and offering music experience for people through the internet, such as music for gatherings, celebrations and homages!
