Serebe is a DJ and producer, currently living and working in Harlem, New York. Growing up immersed in the music of the Brooklyn scene, Serebe worked his way up in the DJ world until he was playing in the most exclusive clubs that NYC had to offer. After decades touring the globe as a DJ, Serebe switched his focus to cultivating a career as a producer, beginning as an intern for the legendary British-Jamaican label Island Records.
Serebe took a position working for Eightball Records and was soon put in charge of managing both the record store and the label itself. Now with a full decade of production experience under his belt, Serebe has gained a reputation for his slick incorporation of tribal percussive elements and melodies into his tracks, which blend ultra-modern production with deep house sensibilities and traditional tribal flourishes.
